USA "googled" in Syria

In this case we are not talking about selling American weapons to the Syrian opposition and radical Islamist groups, and on participation, arguably the most famous Western IT company in fuelling the war in Syria.

As for Google, they received covert support from Washington for years to come. It is worth noting that Al Jazeera was also not chosen by chance. This channel from the very beginning were not just oppositional, but rather radical views. Therefore, their cooperation with the Americans is not surprising. On the contrary, is further evidence that Washington had close ties with radical Islamists in the middle East, and maybe still has.
